March 27 – Devi and puppies are now safe

Devi is a malnourished, injured mother dog with a tired look in her eyes. We found her on a busy road in Harisiddhi, frantically trying to feed herself and her puppies. Unspayed female dogs in Nepal generally suffer from multiple pregnancies, leading to birthing problems, malnourishment, parasite infections, etc.

This is why Animal Nepal addresses the root causes of stray dog problems by spaying and vaccinating female dogs in ABC and CNVR (Animal Birth Control at our shelter and Catch Neuter Vaccinate and Release camps within the community).

Devi and her puppies are now with us, eating like a wolf, and feeling much more relaxed already. We wish her a speedy recovery!
