March 29 – Rescued Pharping dogs in good shape

Sarawati, an elderly female community dog, lives at the Asura cave in Pharping and suffers from CTVT cancer. Saraswati is one of the four dogs which we rescued during the CNVR (Catch Neuter Vaccinate and Release) camp held in Pharping earlier this month. Apart from Saraswati we rescued Dakino, a male dog suffering from cancer of the penis, and Segunda and Trio, two very friendly dogs suffering from a terrible skin problem.

Thanks to a generous donation from various kind dharma students, including Kelly MacLean, we can take good care of them at the Chobar Animal Sanctuary. Our staff make sure the cancer dogs receive weekly chemotherapy and the skin problem dogs weekly invermectin injections.
